Tricia Helfer is best know for her role as Number 6 on SciFi's Battlestar Galactica.Helfer was born in Stettler County, Alberta and raised on her family's grain farm. At the age of 17, while standing in line at a local movie theatre, she was discovered by modelling agency scout Kelly Streit. Her first leading role was portraying Farrah Fawcett in Behind the Camera: The Unauthorized Story of 'Charlie's Angels'.
